Conflict Management (front line staff)

Front line employees of funded organisations are often faced with clients or learners that may have a history of violence, aggressive behaviour, substance misuse or additional support needs.

Employers have a legal responsibility to ensure the Health and Safety of their employees (Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, s 2 [p1]).

One of the most positive ways employers can demonstrate their ability to comply with the HSWA 1974 is to supply employees with the training they require to keep them safe.

Conflict Management training is a bespoke training package delivered by qualified and experienced tutors that provide all employees with both theoretical and scenario based knowledge of successfully managing conflict.

The course consists of the following units:

  1. Performing S.A.F.E.R™ evaluations
  2. POP™ Assessments
  3. P.A.L.M.S model
  4. Behaviour Attitude cycle
  5. Experiential Learning cycle
  6. Blocks to communication
  7. Switching, Drawing and Passing the Baton
  8. Scenarios
