Due Diligence

As a responsible Designated Premises Supervisor, it is your responsibility to ensure that all employees of your business are practicing ‘due diligence.’  The result of failing a due diligence, or ‘test purchase’ can be extremely costly.  The options available are:

1. A fine of up to £5,000
2. Suspension of licence
3. Forfeit of licence
4. Fixed penalty notice for employees failing due diligence test

There are also Police interviews and costly legal fees.
