Assessment information

The Level 1 Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification is delivered in 1 day and is assessed by a 60 minute, 40 multiple choice question paper at the end. Topics covered include:

4. Workstations and D.S.E
5. Work Related ill Health
6. Workforce consultation
7. Fire & Electrical Safety
8. Risk Management & Reducing Workplace Injuries

Awarding Body

British Safety Council accredits this level 1 qualification which can be seen as a stepping stone into employment, part of an employee induction programme or general health and safety information for staff.
