ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading

Do you employ supervisors, or are you a team leader? - This Level 2 Award in Team Leading is a short course that will equip candidates with the key skills required to become a highly capable leader of teams within the workplace.

This programme is viewed as a stepping stone into management and provides an effective route into reviewing own performance and critical thinking.

About the Award

Awarded through the Institute of Leadership & Management there are a total of 4 credits required to complete this programme.

There is one mandatory unit:

  • M2.01: Developing yourself as a team leader

This unit is completed and assessed by reflective review about the work you do.  This means you can work in a factory, classroom, workshop, supermarket or any other business.  The unit is aimed at how you work within the business as a team leader.

There are lots of optional units to choose from, but our most popular are:

  • M2.08: Delivering quality to customers
  • M2.12: Equality within the workplace

All optional units offered can be completed with short questions which have been endorsed by the Awarding Body, ILM.

Time to complete

This short course is designed over 28 hours including the induction.

This is the first course NEET Futures is offering as distance learning.  No matter where you are in the United Kingdom, we are able to support you in this programme using a range of method including:

  • Text books and assignments sent via E Mail or Hard copy if you prefer

Cost

The cost of this course is just £400 per learner inclusive of all fees. This may be subsidised for large groups of 6 or more studying together.

Competence

All tutors, assessors and verifiers at NEET Futures CIC are employed directly by us.  This means no outside ‘consultants’ to tamper with our quality of service.

All assessors and verifiers hold a minimum of NVQ 3 Advice and Guidance, business qualifications at level 2 or higher as well as their Assessor and Verifier Awards.
